This thread brings a question to mind though... if I don't really care about GUI's... is couriermlm just a black sheep cousin not worthy of our time? :-) I've been using it successfully for some time, and haven't really cared about having a pretty interface on it.

Couriermlm is OK. It's very well integrated with courier, just as ezmlm-idx is with qmail. I suspect that it may be missing some features that make other list managers more flexible and easy to use. I've never used it for a production list since I hacked ezmlm-idx to work with Courier, and I already had lists set up for that from when I was using qmail, and my list subscribers expected the web-based archives that ezmlm-idx supports. I'm not sure how couriermlm handles such things as distribution-only lists, per-subscriber moderation, VERP management, etc.
