I am using vpopmail and sqwebmail and trying to implement maildrop as a mail filter. It does not seem to be working for me. I have tried setting up the /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain/.qmial-default file with | /usr/local/bin/maildrop

maildrop doesn't know anything about vpopmail. It expects to be able to find the recipient's address in your usual /etc/passwd file, with the default mailbox defined accordingly.

You can get maildrop to work in manual mode, by passing the path to the .mailfilter file as the argument to maildrop. However, you will also have to make the equivalent adjustments to sqwebmail's maildirfilterconfig, reflecting the location of the recipient's maildir relative to vpopmail's home directory.
