While this is true, it does not change the fact that a better error message, indicating the problematic address, is in order. Even if it only warns on the first bad address, at least this is better than nothing.
If I'm not mistaken, Courier *is* telling the user exactly which address is causing the problem. -- Or more specifically... it's telling the client, which is *not* passing the information on to the user. -- So, Courier isn't really the problem here, AFAICT.
If the client sends a series of RCPT commands, then according to SMTP specifications, it *has* to wait for each one's response, I believe. (Right, Sam? Or et al.?) So it should always know which one is causing the error. Just because it *isn't* telling the user what the problematic address is, doesn't mean that it *couldn't* give that information to the user.
