Forgot about permissions which will be a problem
if you have separate system accounts.
I just configured a few userdb accounts and this
seems like the best way to handle it.
mainaccountfolder1<TAB>home=/home/mainaccount/Maildir/.Folder1|
mail=/home/mainaccount/Maildir/.Folder1|uid=?|gid=?|systempw=*
mainaccountfolder2<TAB>home=/home/mainaccount/Maildir/.Folder2|
mail=/home/mainaccount/Maildir/.Folder2|uid=?|gid=?|systempw=*
Make sure authuserdb is included. Set the passwords
"userdbpw | userdb ... set systempw", makeuserdb and
you should be able to POP3 from these accounts.
Make sure uid and gid are the same as the mainaccount
ones.
Anyway try this hack. Create several accounts on the server,
one for each folder you have. In each of these accounts make
Maildir a symbolic link to the appropriate folder in the main
account. e.g.
# ln -s ~mainaccount/Maildir/.Folder1 ~folder1/Maildir
# ln -s ~mainaccount/Maildir/.Folder2 ~folder2/Maildir
