Hi there,

did you check that your firewall is open for port 636?

Just an idea, Bernd

Hi,

What's the correct syntax to make courierldapaliasd get its information through an LDAPS connection? Neither of these two configurations (in ldapaliasrc) seem to work:

LDAP_SERVER server LDAP_PORT 636

---- LDAP_SERVER ldaps://server/ LDAP_PORT 636

All I get when I use "courierldapaliasd query [...]" is "Error.", and nothing shows up in the LDAP server debug info, so, as far as I can tell, it's not even reaching the server. However, using a normal connection (on port 389) it works just fine, so I'm thinking it's not because of some connectivity or certificate problem. Am I missing something?

I googled it and searched the mailing list's archives but found no reference to using LDAPS with courierldapaliasd.

Cheers, JoD+*o Vale
