Recently I have been getting failure notices like the one below. As can be seen, I use qmail and maildrop to deliever to maildir dir's in users' home dirs.

For some reason my attention is drawn to the apostrophe in the Subject: header. This seems to be a common feature of these events. (Or am I just leaping to a coincidence.?) Please pardon the clumsy obsfuscation.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ali.mydomain I tried to deliver a bounce message to this address, but the bounce bounced!

<frank@mydomian>: bash: -c: line 1: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `'' bash: -c: line 2: syntax error: unexpected end of file maildrop: error writing to filter. /usr/local/bin/maildrop: Unable to filter message. I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

--- Below this line is the original bounce.
