Hi Eric,

1) make the radio connection be a physical one - disconnect the antenna and provide an SNA connector in order to be able to connect spots together - the cable connecting these has shielding which I've been told will remove any outside interference - we will be able to connect SPOTs in any configuration we want

Perhaps I'm being dim here, but if I had three SPOTs with this modification how would I connect them so that A is in range of only B, B is in range of both A and C, and C is in range of only B? This is a simple 2 hop scenario. ISTM that you'd need some other clever stuff. If I just put all three SPOTs on a coax bus they will all hear each other.
