Dear All,

MarkMail is a great tool for searching mail archives that is gaining some attention. Although focussing on software and related projects, they are open to requests, so last week I asked if they could index TAXACOM. They've done so, and the result is http:// taxacom.markmail.org/ .

To get an idea of what MarkMail can do try these links:

http://taxacom.markmail.org/search/?q=ubio

http://taxacom.markmail.org/search/?q=taxonomic%20impediment

http://taxacom.markmail.org/search/?q=database

http://taxacom.markmail.org/search/?q=panbiogeography

http://taxacom.markmail.org/search/?q=phylogeny

You can also search by author

http://taxacom.markmail.org/search/?q=from%3A%22Donat+Agosti%22

In case you are worried, MarkMail use a captcha to avoid computers harvesting your email address.

Regards

Rod
