The straightforward way to do it is to get rid of all pending changes before removing the unneeded user specs and client specs.
It only takes a few minutes to create user and client specs that will allow you to masquerade as the change owner and revert the open files. At 06:34 PM 1/7/00 , Chris Bailey wrote:
There are several changelists on our server that are no longer valid, because the clientspec is no longer in use, the person has left, or various other reasons.
However, according to the docs, I (as a superuser) cannot delete non-empty changelists. Is that really true, is there no way to delete these no longer in use changelists? Previously I was told I'd have to recreate a clientspec for each of these changelists/clientspecs and do it that way. But there are many of these and this seems exceedingly tedious. Is there a better/eaiser way?
