Using the tip from:
http://users.tns.net/~skingery/firefox/GDS_Tips.html#network
I created a file, gds.reg, which is below.
My goal is to have a shortcut to kick off a re-index whenever I wanted.
My understanding is that it would (in this example) cause me to
re-index the drives "C" (Local) as well as "S" and "R" , which are
network drives.
For some reason this does not cause the re-index of these network
drives.
Do I need to uninstall and (I hope not) delete the cach file?
