Hi, I need help. I downloaded mysql-3.23.56-win.zip, unzipped the file and when I try to run setup.exe nothing happens. I noticed the similar problem reported on this forum last year, and then the person found that he had some additional processes still running on his system. When he killed these processes everything workd fine. In my case, I checked that there is no zombies running, and I try to run setup.exe, just after rebooting the machine. I checked the task list that there is no zombies running. Has anybody had the similar problem on Windows XP? I also tried MySQL's latest release with the same results. Any idea what might be wrong?
thanks
