Dear users

Can someone please tell me how to avoid the system to "hang" when the mail, which is to be downloaded (and automatically imported as as a new issue or response to an existing one), has a subject or a body that holds more characters than the system allows ?

I get some error in my log , telling that the subject or the body is "too long" for the database, and the the download stops. Then I have to login to the mailbox and edit the length of the subject or the body to be able to let my Eventum system download the actual mail.

Couldn't it be that there was some kind of truncating of these particular fields during the download functionality? Or could the mail be downloaded in parts of X megabytes ? Or how can I setup my system to allow longer subject and large amounts of data in the body of mails sent to my Eventum system?
