I'm having a mental block this morning... Is there a simple way to determine a list of files in a given folder tree, that are not yet a part of the depot?

The list should include files that are both writable, and non-writable, and the method should work simarially for both Windows and Unix.

I know that one could find all the files and add them to the default changelist, which could later be reverted if necessary. But that seems messy, just to generate a list.

What am I overlooking?
