The pop3d works fine but the esmtpd report "User unknown" when we issue the smtp command "rcpt to:".

Controllare un paio di cose:

il campo referenziato da MYSQL_LOGIN_FIELD contiene i nomi degli utenti nella forma pip@dominio.TLD ?

il campo referenziato da MYSQL_UID_FIELD e da MYSQL_GID_FIELD contengono gli uid/gid dell'utente che può leggere e scrivere? In pratica puoi rendere la cosa semplice mettendoci gli UID/GID che usi per courier oppure creare un utente ad hoc.

Beh, ovvio, fa da relay, quindi dovrebbe mettere in coda e rispedire il messaggio a chi di dovere.

Qualche informazione in più sarebbe utile: setup, versioni, ed altro che potete farci sapere.
