Hi Jason,
Where can I find documentation and/or examples of using gm:search with Google Spreadsheets in particular and other feeds formatted using the Google Data protocol that you referenced.
Thanks, Michael

Yes, we eventually plan to include built-in feeds for various properties including Google Calendar and Spreadsheets. Although this is not an immediate priority, it is definitely on our roadmap.
And yes, the chart you referenced is mostly correct. It's worth noting that all feeds formatted using the Google Data protocol, including those from Google Calendar, Google Spreadsheets, and Blogger, can be queried using the gm:search module. There is also an additional feed, $ {tmp}, which exists entirely in memory, making it perfect for storing transient information.
Finally, while I can't give too many specifics at this time, I can say that we hope to extend search support to ${app} and ${user} in the future. I will file your requests in the meantime.
As always, we appreciate the feedback. If you have any other suggestions on how to improve GME, we're always listening.

Are there any plans to create native built-in feeds for other Google apps such as Docs, Spreadsheet, Calendar, etc?
On a related note, is this chart current, and if so, is there future plans to provide additional functionality? For example, per this chart, one can read/write to ${app} and not ${base}, but can search on
