As the year draws to a close, it's time for me to clean house and get rid of all unreleased patches and fixes that I've been sitting on, so that the new year may begin on a clean slate.

None of this is important to anyone on this list. If everything is working for you right now, you can leave it alone.

For us, authlib, imap and maildrop are working fine. authlib thanks to Brian Candler, who sshed to my home rig and fixed my own rpm build stupidities - my unbridled thanks to Brian and to him the best wishes for 2007.

Let all the new folks take the burden of discovering any glitches.

That's me for the above mentioned.

In particular, old code in sqwebmail has now decided to chew up Asian UTF-8 text. The old code was meant to fix some browser issue that I don't even remember much about. I think it's now more important to get i18n support right. Rather than figuring out for the next month, how to test if the fix is still needed, or if there are any regressions, I've just pulled the fix out. If something still breaks, I'm sure that someone will tell me about it.

Sam, a thousand thanks for all your utilities. For our Barlaeus site they're worth gold and we couldn't do without any of them (hmmm ... I *have* tried dovecot, nuff said). A fine 2007 and

Best,
