Hi Jeff,
Usually I empty my items list first every time I'm about to do a new upload with the api. And talking about content, I do have very similar products names among my items. like products a : sunglasses mp4 1GB, product 2 : sunglasses mp4 4GB. Will google treat items with similar names as duplicates? If it does, it should be the "duplicates" that got disapproved, and leave the non duplicate activated right? Why after my uploading, hours later ALL my items got disapproved automatically? Thank you.

Hi Shawn,
The problem could also be related to duplicate content or item quality. I think that is more likely than a problem with the fact that this is an automated script. Quite a few users automate their API uploads so this is common practice. When you upload the 1,000 items, are you posting things that you have posted before (in other words creating duplicates instead of updating existing items)?
Happy coding,
Jeff

Hi, I'm uploading my products with a small script which uploads around 1000 products. After the script's execution, I can see the items listed in active items. But hours later, they got all disapproved. Then I read Google Base Program Policies really carefully and found this.
"We do not permit duplicate posted content, or the promotion of mirrored sites or products. Posting using automated software programs or "robots" is not permitted."
Is my script an automated software. Is it the reason why all my products got disapproved?
Puzzled.
