Hi,

just detected: Every time I try to run a "p4 diff -sd ..." I will have a core file at the server. While the server itself still responds, it seems that the forked process dies almost immediatly ... :(

I'll reguest the support ...

Regards, J?rg

following the advice of TechNote 002 I will have to use the "p4 diff" command. Unfortunately I get always the same error:

$ p4 diff -sd '...' Perforce client error: Connection with partner closed unexpectedly.

I have seen this caused by two different things: 1) running out of space in /tmp 2) inetd failing to pass a connection to Perforce

I *think* that the former would be the issue rather than the latter.
