I can't say much about this - other than I am working with Google for at least part of the country. If you look at Google Maps and zoom into the tightest level anywhere in Buckinghamshire you will find the stops - and these offer "transit bubbles" with next departure information for each service.
The data in this case has been supplied by traveline south east - and I had expected the whole of the SE region of traveline to have been released by now. It's on its way - as is Transit Planning. In the meantime, of course, you already have the regional traveline services and the national journey planner from Transport Direct (which has a mobile interface).

When will UK cities be included in google transit? Its a great idea and more useful in a lot of ways than the google maps tool - especially if it can be accessed from mobile devices. I will be amazed if Google can create a national transit planner for the UK, but I would use it all the time.
