Is it possible that the c/c++ compiler is in error and is in need to be reinstalled? Is it possible that the compiler has problems accepting third-party API's? If so, how do you address such problem?

I still can't make it compile. :( The link errors just keep on popping.

Hmm... will it help to understand if I mention that I'm developing on a Windows XP Prof?

I am in the same boat as you, except i am using freeBSD4.4 ....i appreciate everyone's attempts but no matter what i still get those %$#!'n link errors

so i think it may be possible we have a common problem that is platform independent

i have tried installing mysql, the mysql++api, a new version of binutils, i even installed the STL headers...

it is really frustrating,...

p.s. i dont think posting the link errors will help,...we just arent getting the libraries included in our assembly procudures
