What do you have this key bound to? It's not bound for me. I moved my .muttrc out of the way to see if it has a default binding, but it doesn't appear to. You can reply to me off-list on this point.

Capital L, not lowercase l. You also have to make a "subscribe" entry so that mutt knows when you press "L", it looks for certain strings. I have mine set to search for "courier-users". If it finds it, it replies to that and only that. As an example:

subscribe courier-users clie-linux demime subscribe discuss@mandrakesecure exploits@ subscribe gqclient grip horde imp linuxplc subscribe lilax lula lausd_mdk linux-390

You can use multiple space seperated items on one line. I use the @ in some of them to really narrow down false positives.
