Subject:[maildropl] maildrop not delivering to proper maildirsActions...

List:net.sourceforge.lists.courier-maildrop

I'm using maildrop 1.37, from Debian unstable

turgon@mail:~/Maildir$ maildrop -v maildrop 1.3.7 Copyright 1998-2002 Double Precision, Inc. GDBM extensions enabled. Maildir quota extension enabled. Virtual user database extension enabled. This program is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. See COPYING for additional information.

I'm having problems sometimes with maildrop not delivering to the proper maildirs, and instead ending up appended to a whole different file.

I call maildrop from postfix, as MDA. Reading mail via Courier IMAP, it if matters.

Here's .mailfilter: turgon@mail:~$ more .mailfilter DEFAULT="$HOME/Maildir" logfile "maildrop-filtering-log"

if ( /X-Spam-Status: Yes/ ) to "Maildir/.Spam"

if ( /SM-USERS/ ) to "Maildir/.SquirrelMail-Users"

(NOTE: The above does not get delivered to it's correct maildir)

if ( /SAtalk/ ) to "Maildir/.SpamAssassin"

(NOTE: the above *does* get delivered to it's correct maildir)

(and so on)

Here's my maildirs:

turgon@mail:~/Maildir$ ls -la total 34 drwx--S--- 29 turgon turgon 864 2002-07-18 14:51 . drwxr-xr-x 13 turgon turgon 1280 2002-07-18 15:31 .. drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 11:56 .AMaViS drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-06-09 11:26 .Andie -rw-r--r-- 1 turgon turgon 358 2002-07-18 14:51 courierimapsubscribed -rw-rw-rw- 1 turgon turgon 4237 2002-07-18 14:50 courierimapuiddb drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 00:39 .CrossOver-Plugin drwx--S--- 2 turgon turgon 5792 2002-07-17 13:17 cur drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 184 2002-07-16 15:48 .Drafts drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 10:57 .Evolution drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-17 11:53 .KDE drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-14 12:24 .KLM drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 00:40 .LEAF drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 00:14 .LenRosenthol drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-17 21:43 .Libranet drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 15:24 .Maildrop drwx--S--- 2 turgon turgon 48 2002-07-17 13:10 new drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-06-24 10:07 .PenguinShell drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 14:45 .PLUG drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 00:14 .Postfix drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-15 15:35 .RogueAdmins drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-06-06 22:07 .SecurityFocus drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 184 2002-07-18 00:45 .Sent drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 184 2002-07-17 08:38 .SOPHIE drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 13:19 .Spam drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-18 15:24 .SpamAssassin drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-17 19:35 .SquirrelMail-Users drwx--S--- 2 turgon turgon 48 2002-07-18 15:33 tmp drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-17 20:28 .Tolkien drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 184 2002-07-18 15:24 .Trash drwx--S--- 5 turgon turgon 152 2002-07-17 20:28 .win4lin

Now, why would the above email (which matches no rule), get appended to a *file* called INBOX.Trash, instead of being put into my maildir inbox?

Any ideas? What other info can I show?
