Why? Can you not configure postfix to give maildrop the uid and let it look that up?

I've tried this and it seems to be working well. However, it's only possible when I use email adresses like "ui@domain.com", so that I had to create aliases for the long addresses (firs@domain.com). It would have been nice if I could achieve this without aliases, as there is nobody here who uses his "short" email adress so I wanted to avoid the aliasing overhead.
