I am using P4Win 2004.2/73359 on Windows XP SP1.
I have set the "Files: Double Click" option to "open and edit file using
associated editor."
However, it doesn't open with the associated editor but with the
associated opener.
For instance, If I use the Windows explorer, Folder Options, File Types
property sheet, I can see that an HTML (.html) file is defined to Open
with Internet Explorer, but Edit with Frontpage. Perforce brings the
file up in IE and not Frontpage. The Same is true for Python (.py) on
Perl (.pl) File which are defined to Open with their interpreters but
Edit with their respective IDEs. Perforce tries to run them.
Does everyone else see this behavior. Is this a bug in P4Win or a typo
on the options page.
