Why would the people at WeightWatchers have any problem at all with my site? - I am not selling any weight watchers products or offering any specialist diet that would compete with them. Many of my articles carry adverts by Weight Watchers so it is likely to give them more traffic.

Furthermore I am picking up traffic that Weight Watchers would be missing because of the mis-spellings and sending some of that traffic to them. I could see no reason why WeightWatchers would not welcome my site and its been running for 1.5 years with no problem.

Why would Google have any problem with this site either as it is not tricking users into anything. They don't get pressured into buying anything on my site and would have plenty of links from my site to the WeightWatchers site if that is indeed where they intend to be. Google have been aware of this site for a long time and have clearly not found it a problem up to now.

The statement you quote "but Google MAY respond negatively to other misleading practices not listed here (e.g. tricking users by registering misspellings of well-known websites" says that this would be up to Google's discretion).

This is MikeH's wife speaking. I would kindly ask you to refrain from this insulting language and approach. I can tell you Mike has a Maths degree, has worked as a consultant programmer for 18 years and has many accolades to his name with respected customers. We have retired to the Outer Hebrides and I can tell you it is an extremely beautiful place with POLITE and friendly people and most certainly is not somewhere to be insulted. I take your comments as GROSSLY OFFENSIVE.

Maybe. Still a violation of Google's Ts&Cs:

"These quality guidelines cover the most common forms of deceptive or manipulative behavior, but Google may respond negatively to other misleading practices not listed here (e.g. tricking users by registering misspellings of well-known websites)."

"Tricking users". That's what you're doing, by your own admission. Any monies you have received from Google have been obtained in violation of Google's Ts&Cs. Dead simple.
