Not based on the criteria you outline below, no.
My _intent_ of the moment is just to fix things that would inhibit a
happy "stock" 2.3.1 user from wanting to upgrade to 2.4; my _hope_ of
the moment is that this could happen very soon. (Also, we'll benefit
from my simply having gone through a first iteration at the release
packaging (etc) process).
Larger changes, (including ones like buffer overrun problems, to which
your fixes are, I presume, extensive) would be addressed in a later
release.
OK by me. I guess it doesn't matter that much to us until you get all of our
enhancements ;-)
