Yes, the MCTA's flat screens in the busses are a good idea. However, I do have a couple of issues with them:

First, they're not always accurate. I ride the bus 10 times per week, and at least two or three times per week the screens are inaccurate or inactive. Additionally, not all stops are listed on the screen (i.e. heading west on Wisconsin Ave, no stop is listed between 16th and 27th streets, when in fact there are at least two stops, maybe three).

Second, the advertisments on Transit Television are sometimes poorly choosen. For example, last night riding home after work, there was a commercial advertising daily jokes delivered directly to your cell phone for only $1 per day. Generally, people that make use of public transportation are poor, or very near the poverty line, and uneducated. These are precisly the people that may purchase jokes for $1 per day, without realizing how much it will really cost. I guess I simply don't think that a bus is the appropriate forum for that advertisement.

Generally, I don't think Milwaukee has enough busses. I see no reason that I should have to wait 15 minutes for a bus downtown. They should flow one after another after another. Is that too much to ask?
