Yes, thanks for the idea. But we have too many diverse clients and platforms to make this practical. We need a server-side solution.

Agreed, it would be a nice built-in capability, but one way to implement this (as we do here) is to spoof it by having your users all set P4EDITOR to point to a program of yours that customizes the forms sent by Perforce.
