Hello all,

Hello Sam,

First of all thank you for Courier, I use it from my server was born (in Spring 2001) and I advise it to all my friends.

The bug found is: alex@alpha:~$ sendmail To: "" <>

qwe alex@alpha:~$ tail /var/log/mail.info Dec 10 01:25:42 alpha courierd: newmsg,id=00073C65.3DF5A506.00006D82 Dec 10 01:25:42 alpha courierd: ABNORMAL TERMINATION BY A SIGNAL Dec 10 01:25:42 alpha courierd: Will restart in 60 seconds. ... Dec 10 01:26:42 alpha courierd: ABNORMAL TERMINATION BY A SIGNAL Dec 10 01:26:42 alpha courierd: Will restart in 60 seconds. ... Dec 10 01:27:42 alpha courierd: ABNORMAL TERMINATION BY A SIGNAL Dec 10 01:27:42 alpha courierd: Will restart in 60 seconds. ... alex@alpha:~$

That is if my users have lame scripts that don't bother to check if recipient address is null, that users will crash courier this way.

Suppose the same crash could happen if someone gives such input via smtp port.

Thank you again for courier, and nice days for all us :)
