How come my maildrop installation doesn't read the .mailfilter file?? The users homedir is /home/vmail but the Maildir is located at /home/vmail/domain.tld/user/Maildir I've tried to place the .mailfilter file in both /home/vmail and /home/vmail/domain.tld/user but none of the places it get read..

What is DEFAULTDELIVERY= in /etc/courier/courierd set to? It should be specifying maildrop as your local delivery agent.

I do not have such file at the server...

The location of the file will vary depending on your platform and how/where you installed Courier, are you using the full Courier program or just maildrop and/or courier-imap?

I've tried "locate courierd" and it returned nothing...

I'm using Maildrop and courier-imap...
