Hi,

I want to know if there's a standard way (or someone hacked it non- standardly) to check whether a message of a given size would exceed a maildir quota...

The point is that I'd like to be able to give a username (and NOT a maildir file) to be checked and that it would be processed as if I had said: maildrop -d <username> even if the user happens to be on an LDAP or MySQL database (together with the quota)...

I was thinking about trimming down maildrop/main.C, but if someone has already done something similar, it'd be nice to not reinvent the wheel.

TIA.
