What you are looking for is the ARCHIVEDIR in courierd. It's documented in the courierd file (probably in /etc/courier or /usr/lib/courier/etc).

I am using courier-mta on FreeBSD-5.2.1 for our small company.

The management has decided that they want a copy of all outgoing SMTP messages. Recently, an employee left and all kinds of disputes arose with customers about what the ex-employee had agreed or not agreed to. Thus, now we are required to keep a duplicate of all email messages. I simply added a second delivery instruction to all the accounts for incoming emails. But I can't figure out how to setup up duplication of outgoing messages. All users authenticate for sending outgoing emails and are on the company intranet (i.e. are within a defined IP range).

Any help or advice will be appreciated.
