Please accept my sincere thanks for all the work you have done for the e-Gov work, and much more beyond for OASIS, and for just making better things happen.
We are going to miss you is an understatement.

There have been substantial changes in my office over recent weeks resulting in my current loan to this office coming to an end and me now having to return to my home department, the Inland Revenue. With that change I can no longer represent UK Government on OASIS matters. Therefore I need to step down as chair of the TC and seek a replacement. You need now to elect a new chair from among the membership so can you let me have nominations by 29th October and I will instigate a vote.
I am sorry to have to resign but circumstances are beyond my control.
