I have an account configured this way:

$HOME/.mailfilter $HOME/Maildir

maildirfilerconfig is in Maildir and contains:

MAILDIRFILTER=../.mailfilter MAILDIR=./Maildir

SqWebMail properly edits the mailfilter file, but the filters don't get used at all.

I have

DEFAULTDELIVERY="| /usr/lib/courier/bin/maildrop"

in etc/courierd.

What could the problem be?
