Hi... I posted this some time ago but never got any replies... can someone

I"m seeing some error messages in my maillog which say "550 sorry, I don"t
accept bounce messages with more than one recipient. Go read RFC2821."
What exactly does that mean?
Any 5xx reply from a mail server means that the server refuses to accept the
message. Although in many cases you can determine the reason for the
refusal from the error message text, if you can't, there's not much else you
can go on.
These errors are returning from delivery attempts made by majordomo. I

What you need to know is the envelope return address.
send multiple recipients. But it is the mailing list message delivery
attempt that is being made, not a bounce message. The deliveries are made
using courier's sendmail.
I wonder what would make the destination server think this is a bounce
message?
Contact their admin and find out, provided that you verified that your
envelope return address isn't null.
How can I ensure that these messages are not rejected?
Only by finding out the real reason first. There's really nothing that you
can do until you find out what the real reason is.
