Actually, in talking to Bob Bruce at Usenix, he said that they hadn't seen enough demand for a DVD version of FreeBSD to justify doing a DVD pressing.

It didn't sound like it was a cost issue, but rather a demand issue.

I'm sure if they could determine that there is enough demand for a DVD version, they would do it.
