During my learning process I learned the hard way that in doing this you loose money because often the ads that are placed on your site pay less or the same as the ads you are buying. Example if your site is about new cars then you will need to buy terms relating to new cars and the ads placed on your site will probably be using the same terms and often paying the same or less as what you are paying. You may even see your own ads on your site. To make a profit you would have to have an extremely high CTR on the ads placed on your site and the ads would need to pay upwards of 10 times what you are paying to advertise. Even with a CTR of 25% on the ads placed on my site it was a loosing venture. The thing that helped was other sites saw the ads and linked to mine which helped when I did not have to pay for clicks.

You can, but you're likely to lose money if you're doing that. After all, Google takes its whack out of Adsense earnings.
Adwords should really be used to direct people to sites that are selling products. Adsense is better for information sites (on sites selling products it often advertises competitors).

Is it possible to haveAdsense andAdwords services for the same site?
For example: Sign up with Adwords to direct people to my site and then allowing the Adsense Ads to do their job?
If so, has anyone had any luck with this?
