<6199...@smtp.brturbo.com>: unknown user: "6199945111"

hello all, recently when i have been posting to this list, i get a gibberish response like the following from esqu...@gamerz.net:

<<< you should get some gibberish that resembles the version number of ### Unknown command: you

as well as an email from secu...@verizon.net that says something to the affect..."Thank you for helping us combat Internet Security Violations. If you have any questions regarding your report, please refer to the tracking number"

is anyone else experiencing this? any idea what it might be? is it possible that someone subscribed with a auto-reply email that is generating this? might we get a list admin to check it out?
