Nope, but usually it can be fixed by moving mails from cur to new and stop/restart the messy outlook* client. I have a script to do that which can be used from webmin. Either a single user, multiple users or all users can be specified. Likewise, I have a semilar script that only shows which mails floats around in cur and new, so the mailadmin can look at it before moving mails with the firstmentioned script.

Thanks, but that didn't help. This might be a different issue.

I have not had the chanse to sit down at the OE client that is malfunctioning. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like OE is skipping messages that contain 8 bit characters in the headers (wheather this goes for any header or just the headers it displays in the list I don't know).

For example, on the offending machine, a test message to oneself will not show up. Once I removed a german u (sent un-encoded by OE) from the to/from names, the message DID show up.

Does this help any? Anyone know how to fix this, in light of the above discovery?

Thanks,
