Dear list --

I recently installed qmail-1.03 + vpopmail-4.10.35 + courier-1.3.10. For the most part everything is working fine. The problem I am having is when I use vmoduser to set the no pop/imap access flags, it appears to have no effect at all. I can still connect to the server and check mail for the accounts just fine. I would appreciate it if someone could please shed some light on why these flags are not working. I'm running this on solaris 7. Thanks in advance

It would be great if you could test the no pop access with the vpopmail 5.0 version. We aren't working on the 4.10.35 versions.

For the courier imap (or pop) to work, there might be changes needed to the preauthvchkpw.c module. I have made some changes for my own testing but haven't submitted them to Mr. Sam yet. I know the #ifdef for smtp relay is not spelled correctly (wrong name actually).

It would also be great to hear if you get a clean configure/make with 5.0 on solaris.

FYI: I use vpopmail 5.0 final beta, courier-imap 1.3.11 (authvchkpw only, no authdaemon), and disabling imap access works fine for me. This is on Linux.

Cheers,
