All,

We experiencing a strange issue with the timestamp on our IMAP server. When we
send a message, the message arrives in the mailbox with no problem. Using
Outlook Express, I view the message source BEFORE I actually open the message
and the timestamps are correct. When I look at the receive time column in
Outlook Express, the time is way off. When I finally open the message, again
the timestamp is way off. I've added the following to my /etc/profile:

export TZ=EDT+4 (the server in question in on the east coast)

I then log out and log back in, type echo $TZ and I get the correct time and
date. Has anyone else experienced this ? I initially thought I might have
something to do with my SMTP server, but everything looks fine there. PLEASE
HELP!!! As we are migrating 20,000+ users to a new system as I type this.

Thanks,
