Listen, you are talking to a puppeteer not a techy! RAM where do I put it...post it into the CDdrawer? is this a very technical job to put in more memory? Is this DIY of for technical son to do?

Caroline, how many machines do you need to upgrade and what are they (Pentium 3 or so i guess judging by the ram).
If you don't know of anyone who can help you with this, i don't mind popping around after work one day to give you a hand (if you are still there at 6pm??) I've also got a couple of 128mb (DIMM) RAM chips lying around that i can donate to the cause.
I would say 256MB ram is enough for gutsy, but would turn off the Compiz effects.
