2) basically, there is the possibility to append the contents of the file /usr/lib/courier/etc/footer to every message. i created this file, but the content is never appended. what can i have done wrong?

footer If this file exists, its contents will be automatically appended to all messages sent by the webmail server.

the same answer i already got: but messages sent by sqwebmail aren't appended the footer either. and: is there a way to append a footer to all messages?
