I have this scenario where I need to branch a file, but the file isn't yet in the depot because it was added. The obvious solution is: submit the file and then do the branch. This is a good solution but I want these two changes (the addition and the branch) to occur in one submitted changelist, and in the "obvious solution" the changes occur in two submits.

I have a feeling that this cannot be done in Perforce, but I'm not sure. Ideas anybody?
