Subject:[maildropl] Problem with maildrop & mysql for virtual quotaActions...

Hi Folk,

I'm using this guide [1] to setup my postfix installation and this one [2] for enforcing virtual quota support.

Now, I've some problems with maildrop:

#maildrop -v

maildrop 1.5.3 Copyright 1998-2003 Double Precision, Inc. Maildir quota extension enabled. Virtual user database via MySQL extension enabled. This program is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. See COPYING for additional information.

if I check my maildrop configuration, I understand that it can't get mysql information:

#maildrop -V 9 -d us@domain.tld

maildrop: Invalid user specified.

#maildrop -V 9 -d root

maildrop: Changing to /root

This is my configuration file:

# cat /etc/maildropmysql.config hostname localhost port 3306 database postfix dbuser postfix dbpw dbtable users default_uidnumber 5000 default_gidnumber 5000 uid_field email homedirectory_field concat('/home/vmail/',maildir) homedirectory_base /home/vmail/ maildir_field maildir quota_field concat(quota,'S') mailstatus_field active gid_field 5000

But my users table have only 3 colums: email, password and quota. Some things like homedirectory_field, maildir_field and mailstatus_field are obscure, for me. Can someone explain me what can I do ?

Thanks a lot!
