RiSS . First RiSE Summer School on Software Reuse (http://riss2007.cesar.org.br/)
ABOUT THE SCHOOL RiSS 2007 is a new international summer school created by the Reuse in Software Engineering (RiSE) group (http://www.rise.com.br) to discuss the state-of-the-art and practice related to software reuse. Software reuse is an important factor for companies interested in improving their productivity, time-to-market, quality and reducing costs. In addition, the field is becoming mature - the 10th International Conference on Software Reuse will be next year in China - and the results can be seen in the practical world which companies are more and more introducing reuse in their research-development-innovation agendas. RiSS is a summer school which will discuss important issues related to software reuse and its technical and non-technical aspects, including Domain Engineering, Software Product Lines (SPL), Component-Based Development (CBD), Component Libraries, Software Reuse Tools and Managerial and Organizational aspects for reuse adoption.
