Hi Sam,

Sorry, but I don't use Amaya, so I didn't care about XHTML validation of template files. I was thinking that XHTML validation of HTML files which were generated by Sqwebmail is important.

Amaya is fully XHTML-compliant.

I don't really use it for any real editing. With all the tags in the template files, the whole thing turns into an unreadable mush in an HTML editor.

The only thing Amaya does for me is automatically indent all the HTML code, so that the template files are actually maintainable. Without Amaya-generated automatic indentation, the html template files would've been completely unusable.

I do indent by hand in my Sqwebmail templates using Vim :D

So, it is still important to make sure that Amaya won't chew on HTML files, which is would've done if the HTML does not strictly follow the appropriate DTD.

I promise to also check the templates at http://validator.w3.org/ :)

My best regards,

Pawel
