the recent calendaring discussions make that clear. I'm sick of getting

that generated a bounce that the list software took personally.
I hope I didn't convey the message that I was against encapsulation: I
think encapsulation is a good solution to the problem. What I'm against
is the proposal that invalid emails be silently fixed or delivered as
though nothing is wrong with them.
