The ADDRESS was set to zero when I started playing with the config. So, that's not it.

Cheers!

I have a courier imap server running on a Linux box, and I cannot seem to get any clients running on the same box to talk to it. I have no trouble with clients running on other machines.

The reason I'm doing this is that I'm setting up a web mail client that uses IMAP. The web server and IMAP server are the same machine.

I haven't been able to get either the web mail client or Netscape mail to connect when running on the same machine as the IMAP server. /var/log/maillog doesn't register any login attempts.

I've tried setting the "ADDRESS" value in the imapd.config file to 127.0.0.1 to see if that would help. It stops clients on other machines from connecting, but doesn't help my problem.

Anyway, I'm kind of stumped. If anyone has an idea of why this is happening, I'd appriciate hearing it.

Set ADDRESS to 0.
