Might I suggest a very handy program that I use: Password Wallet It's available here: http://www.selznick.com/products/passwordwallet/index.htm
The reason I use this instead of a keychain based system is because it also works on my palm pilot. I use a single, very strong ( > 20 character ) password for my password wallet, and then just have PasswordWallet come up with random, strong passwords if I need them. It will also take you directly to the web site and key in your username and password for you, then promptly empty the clipboard and lock itself again. It syncs between my Mac and Palm automatically on the cradle and lets me take my passwords securely with me wherever I go. VERY useful. Wish I had thought of it.
